My computer would also freeze with no BSOD while running Android emulators like Nox or BlueStacks for more than 5 or 10 minutes (either using my PC or leaving it idle while I wait for an Android game to be updated). This bsod would just happen very randomly, and it is still annoying regardless (it even BSOD' on me while opening HWMonitor in desktop with no other programs running, and I was like, wtf?).
#How to downgrade bluestacks 3 driver#
I updated my OS to 2004 version and updated my graphics driver to something newer, and nothing. Same THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER bsod happened to me, and while checking the crash dumps that Windows generated during the BSOD, turned out that the graphics driver AND DirectX kernel both crashed. I first installed Windand I thought everything would just work fine, until my computer had a BSOD right when I clicked the Play button in a youtube vid. This mobo also came shipped with the 3.70 Bios. I'm also a Ryzen 5 3400g user who also has this motherboard (ASRock B450M HDV R4.0, to be exact). Hey! I literally created an account in this forum just to share my input about this. Their website says one version is supported form 2.30, and another from 3.20. I'm also running the 3.70 version, but I can downgrade to 3.20 and still maintain support for all 3400G version, since I don't know which one that I have. How is the older BIOS version holding up for you? Any crashes or BSOD so far? I noticed it's been two days since you said you downgraded to 3.30. I have the same 3400G but with B450M-HDV, and experiencing the same problem.

I'll get back to ASRock again and complain about their piss poor BIOS testing!! It looks like ASRock have bleeped up their 3.7 bios release across multiple chipset versions of their Motherboards !!!!

as mine is a Ryzen 3400G (Picasso) which is supported by ver 3.7. Now I don't buy Its down to your Processor core. I've only been testing for 6 hr but not a single crash since then.

So I back dated the ASRock A320M HDV Ver 4.0 bios from version 3.7 to version 3.30. I tried resetting the Bios to factor defaults and still had the issue.
